She was predeceased by: her husband William Henry Montague; her parents, Angela Hendricks Chism and Fred B. Haley; and her siblings, Johnitta Sirkle, Vernon Haley, James Haley and John Haley.
She is survived by: her children, William E. Montague (Barbara), Mary Grigsby (Christopher), Thomas Montague (Vicki) and Patricia Shoup (Jack); her grandchildren, William N. Montague, Richard T. Montague (Brittney), James Ezzio, Jennifer Kenner (Andrew), T. Dru Montague (Nicole), Richard B. Montague (Jessie), Amy Shoup and Lori Fischer (Jacob); her great grandchildren, Hunter, Caitlyn, Ashton, Adam, Benjamin, Marjorie and Thomas; her great great grandchild Emersyn; and her sister Vicki Haley-Oman.
Per Shirley's wishes, in lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Lexington Fire Department Toy Drive to bring joy to the children in our community this Christmas.
