With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Carolyn Perry Ishmael (Lexington, Kentucky), who passed away on March 9, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon David Perry and Gladys Marie Crowe Perry; her husband James Charles Ishmael; and her siblings, Brenda Perry Carter, Sarah Perry Gorham and Vernon Wallace Perry.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Lynn Ishmael and Mark Lee Ishmael; her grandchildren, Jason Scarborough (Ashley), Gary Scarborough (Brandi) and Stacey Hatton (Jason); and her great grandchildren, Aaron, James, Gary Tyler, Logan, Ryan, Jay Lee, Beverly, Avery, Jaxon and Bryson.
