She is survived by: her father Dr. Gilbert VanOver Jr.; her husband Hector Joyner; her children, Amber Newmyer (Brandon), Brooklyn Hart (Zac Strunk), Cierra Parks (Josh), Garrett Jones (Chelsea) and Brandon Joyner (Jerica Smith); and her brothers, Gilbert VanOver III (Phyllis) and Vaughn VanOver (Suzanne). She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren.
