She was predeceased by: her daughter Karen Elizabeth Young; her parents, John Remington Cooper, Sr. and Esther Carl Cooper; and her siblings, John "Jack" Remington Cooper, Jr. (late Millicent) and Barbara Cooper Fowler (Gary).
She is survived by: her husband Charles W Young Jr.; her children, Charles "Chuck" W Young III (Joanie), Kim Anderson (Mike) and Kathy Whalen (Bill); her grandchildren, Beth Duncklee (Ross), John Whalen (Alexis), Chris Anderson, Tony Whalen, Missy Whalen, Lyndsay Young and Catherine Young; and her great grandchildren, Luke, Brooke, Ryan, Hank Duncklee, John Jr., Shepherd and Parker Whalen. She is also survived by 5 sisters-in-law, a brother-in-law, ten nieces and nephews.
