She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Sidney Allen and Margie Allen; her son Michael L. Cornett; her brother Don Allen; her husband Norman L. Cornett; her daughter Shelley C. Hacker (Jim); her brother Willard Allen (Sue); and her grandchildren, Nathan Cornett (Florida), Mary Austin Hacker of Athens, GA and Norman Huntley Hacker of Lexington, KY.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Beaumont Center YMCA where Ruth enjoyed years of exercise, water aerobics and friendships.
