She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Goodloe Robinson and Virginia Robinson; her brother Haldon Robinson; her husband Clovis Robinson; her children, Mary Elizabeth (Libby) of Lexington and David Robinson; her daughter-in-law Anne Robinson of Portland, Maine.; her granddaughter Jessica Ruth Robinson Hauser; her son-in-law Kelley Hauser; her great grandchildren, Rosalie Ruth Hauser and Robinson Gus Hauser; and her nieces, Marnia Robinson of Ashland and Jana Carella of Jacksonville, FL..

In addition to church work, she served in school parent teacher organizations, and participated in garden clubs and P. E. O. Ruth was especially grateful for the friendships she made through P. E. O., whose members visited her frequently up and until the pandemic.
