She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack C. Garriott and Mary Willie Garriott (Coleman); her husband Paul R. Bunton; her daughter Paula G. Bunton; and her siblings, Trudy, Adele Ransdell, Jack Garriott and Jane Stevens.
She is survived by: her son John; her granddaughter Anna (Dave); and her sister-in-law Helen Bunton (Madison Stewart). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Immanuel Baptist Church (3100 Tates Creek Rd, Lexington, KY 40502). A committal service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the Kirkwood Cemetery.
