Russell Sizemore Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Russell Sizemore in Lexington, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 4, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Russell is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Russell's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Sizemore and Geneva Sizemore (Seale). He is survived by: his wife Cathy Sizemore; his children, Jille Theis (Scott) and Isaiah Sizemore (Niki); and his grandchildren, Brooks, Blake and Hadley.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Milward's Funeral Home (1509 Trent Blvd, Lexington, KY 40515). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Camp Nelson National Cemetery (6980 Danville Rd, Nicholasville, KY 40356).
