He is survived by: his wife Delores Kieckhafer Briggs; his daughters, Tami Briggs and Terri Thompson (Jim); his granddaughters, Chantel Langfels (Michael) and Cheyenne Sparrow (Kyle Chea); his great grandchild Laramie Kaye Langfels; and his siblings, Gary Briggs (Marta), George, Jr. Briggs (Jan), Margaret Briggs, Joyce Munnell, Leah Burnett, Carol Herbin and Retha Harris.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to St. John's Lutheran Church Building Fund.
