He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Kibby and Barbara Moore Huffman. He is survived by: his wife Beulah; his sons, Russell Huffman, Jr. and Phillip Huffman (Sissy); his grandchildren, Russell, III (Amber), Blayke (Cody) and Phillip, II (Anna); his great grandchildren, Sidney and Daniel Huffman; and his sisters, Rhoda Christi (Chris), Ramona Norris (late Jim), Ruby Webb (late Frank) and Brenda Layne (Don). He is also survived by six nephews, and eleven nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
