She was predeceased by: her parents, John Prenger and Anna Prenger; her husband Harold VanderHorst; her daughter Julie Bova; and her sister Velma Roeckner.
She is survived by: her children, Christine Hammel (Bill), Amy Manning (Steve), Miriam Seasock (Michael), Brian VanderHorst (Julie), Tim VanderHorst (Faith) and Jeff VanderHorst; her grandchildren, Yon Hammel, Josh Manning, Katie Manning, Ben VanderHorst, Allison Ivetic, Chris VanderHorst, Will VanderHorst and Jett VanderHorst; and her siblings, Deborah Meis, Eileen Holtzhauer, Les Prenger and John Prenger.
