It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Ray Wells of Lexington, Kentucky, born in Auxier, Kentucky, who passed away on October 26, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Leonard; and his siblings, William Lloyd Wells, Laura Belle Wells and James E. He is survived by: his wife Judith Ann Wells; his sons, Jeff Wells (Anne) of Gilbertsville, KY and Chris Wells (Cheri Harris) of Lexington; his grandchildren, Caroline Grace Pendley (Cameron) of Nashville, TN, Elizabeth Marie Barkley (David) of Nashville, TN, Kyle William Wells of Lexington, Luke Christopher Partin Wells of Lexington and Kathryn Taylor Wells of Lexington; and his siblings, Jean Hunt of Laurel, MD, Charles B. Wells of Lawrenceburg, KY and John Thomas "Tom" Wells of Lawrenceburg, KY. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
