He is survived by: his former wife Gwendolyn Smith; his children, David Nethery (Debra) and Elizabeth O'Laughlin (Mark); his grandchildren, Jennifer Hartman, James Nethery, Josiah Nethery and Alexandra O'Laughlin; and his wife Gwen. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
