With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Robert Hiller of Lexington, Kentucky, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph A. Hiller and Mary Anna Harrison Hiller; and his siblings, Joyce Hiller Wittenback, Joe Hiller and Lanny Hiller.
He is survived by: his daughter Dr. Darby Hiller McElderry; his stepchildren, Diana Carey (Kenneth), William Donald Whitehouse (Julie), David Wayne Whitehouse and Terry Dean Whitehouse; his brother Ralph "Pete" Hiller; and his grandchildren, Hugh McElderry, Lydia McElderry, Melissa David (Cody), Joshua Carey (Elizabeth), Christopher Carey, Zachery Whitehouse, Nicholas Whitehouse, Macey Whitehouse, Meghan Whitehouse, Amanda Montgomery (Phil), William Whitehouse III (Megan), Michael Whitehouse, Asha Whitehouse, Shane Whitehouse, Brittany Whitehouse and Bradley Whitehouse (Kayla). He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Stith Funeral Home - Danville (318 W Broadway St, Danville, KY 40422). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at the Bellevue Cemetery (277 N 1st St, Danville, KY 40422).
Memorial donations are suggested to the YMCA of Central Kentucky for the Youth Basketball Program.
