He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Marcum and Lennie Mainous Marcum; his wife Elva Gabbard Marcum; and his granddaughter Susan Edwards. He is survived by: his children, Paula Ice, Tom Marcum (Judy) and Doris Hardigree (Tom); his grandchildren, Laura Lally (Mike), Bryan Marcum, Wesley Marcum (Kimberly) and Tom Hardigree (Jenny); his great grandchildren, Logan, Peyton Lally, Ethan Marcum, Clay, Olivia Hardigree, Jace and Alexa Edwards; his aunt Lennie; and his uncle Franks.

Memorial donations may be made to Park United Methodist Church, Lexington.
