He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Gray and Mary Louise Gray (Potts); and his daughter Sarah. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Quinlan of Nicholasville; his daughters, Amanda and Jessica Byk (Eric) of Port; his siblings, John Gray (Patty) of Ashland and Jane Kerns (Ken) of Lexington; and his grandchildren, Noah, Eli, Isiah, Lilee, Matthew, Samuel, Avery and Ellie.

In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
