He was predeceased by: his father Robert Hess Jr.; his brother Ronald K Hess; and his brother-in-law David B Laine. He is survived by: his mother Karen Sue Hess; his wife Sue Hess; his children, Andrew Hess (Monica) and Kari Hess (Kevin Hurney); his granddaughters, Sadie, Addie and Marley Hess; his sister Robin Laine; his niece Michelle Bright (Austin); his nephew Tyler Laine (Abby); and his stepdaughters, Sarah Creel (Nathan) and Allie Michael (Darren).
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the Dudley's Restaurant (258 W Short St, Lexington, KY 40507).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob's memory can be made to Old Friends Farm or Lexington Humane Society.
