He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Floyd Britton and Helen Marie Roe Sargent. He is survived by: his children, Frances "Frankie" Morris (William Brooks Jr.) and Jason Robert Britton (Alice Ferguson); his grandchildren, Ariel Ledington, Jayden Robert Britton, Sarah Elizabeth Jones and Kaitlyn Marie Jones; his great grandchild Emery Robert Jones; and his siblings, Connie Rambacher (Mark), Danny Reynolds (Pat), Nobel "Dusty" Sargent Jr. (Debbie) and Barry Sargent (Angela). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Bluegrass Hospice Care.
