He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Leslie and Mary Francis Marshall Bean; and his brothers, Donald Carter and Kelly Bean. He is survived by: his wife Loretta Darlene Smith Bean of Lexington; his son Robert Bean, Jr.; his siblings, Floyd Bean, Nathaniel Lee Bean, Janis Elizabeth Bean McKee of Lawrenceburg and Starla Harvey of Lawrenceburg; and his sister-in-law Sandra Van Dyke. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren.
