He is survived by: his wife Sheila Hon Flynn of Sadieville; his mother Irene Comley Flynn; his sons, Kaiden Flynn of Sadieville, Ricky Flynn, Jr. of Louisville and John McFarland of Georgetown; his grandson Jasper Flynn of Louisville; his daughter Kara Flynn of Georgetown; and his sisters, Tonya Williams of Lexington and Michelle Flynn of Lexington.

Due to Governor Beshear's mandate, 50% occupancy of the funeral home will be in practice and face coverings and proper social distancing are required for all who attend.
