He is survived by: his son Michael Winkler; his wife Ellen; his son Matthew Winkler (Brenda); his stepchildren, Hannah Hutchison (Lee) and Patrick Brown; his grandchildren, Haley and Luke Winkler; and his siblings, Edith Hinckfoot, Carol Szychulski and Harvey Winkler.
