Richard J. Dandeneau Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard J. Dandeneau (Lexington, Kentucky), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on October 8, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Dandeneau and Agnes Dandeneau (Bauman); his brother Thomas Dandeneau; his brother-in-law Joseph C. Barrows; his former wife Elizabeth; his stepsons, Jeffery Olson (Julie) and Kevin King (Mary); and his nephews, Ashley Godeaux (Ellen) and David Dandeneau (Candace).
He is survived by: his wife Billie Jo (Barrows); his children, Sharon Gibbons (Pete), Judith Calhoun (Richard) and John R. Dandeneau (Rocio); his stepdaughters, Kelly Muschong (Manfred) and Merilee Olson; his sisters-in-law, Maridy Dandeneau and Sara Barrows; his grandchildren, Dan Dandeneau (Christa), Melissa Medina, Kyle Gibbons (Alex), Holly Gallagher (Caleb), John Dandeneau (Savannah), Christopher Dandeneau, Austin King, Joe Muschong, Jenna Muschong, Michael Whitt, Bryan Whitt and Christopher Whitt; his great grandchildren, Kayla Dandeneau, Andrew Dandeneau, Avery Medina, Harper Gibbons, Charlotte Gibbons, Sloane Gibbons, Jayce Dandeneau, Chelsea Dandeneau, Madelyn Dandeneau, Baylee Whitt and Elliana Mason King; his nieces and nephews, Diane Dandeneau, Renee Stephens, Jan Hammonds, Jill Matthews, Julia Hardy, Joey Eaves, Ricky Godeaux, Linda Barrows and Monica Roberson; and his great-nephews, Clay and Cole Dandeneau.
Due to the Covid pandemic, private graveside services with Military Honors will be held at a later date at Camp Nelson National Cemetery, Nicholasville, KY.
