He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Currey and Genevieve Hardesty Currey; his son Allen Hamm; and his son-in-law Clay Young, Jr. (Jewell Brown). He is survived by: his children, Richard Currey II (Melissa) of Georgetown, KY and Susan Young of Richmond, KY; his grandchildren, Steven Currey, Taylor Young, Lauren Hamm, Logan Young, Kyle Hamm and Paige Currey; and his siblings, Bob Currey, Jim Currey and Nancy Fortney.
