With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Charles King in Lexington, Kentucky, who passed away on August 3, 2024 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond King and Irene Krug King; and his sister Rachel Frank. He is survived by: his wife Cherry McCasland King; his children, Sam King (Elena) and Melinda Lee (Shawn); his brother Ron King; and his grandchildren, Ryan Lee, Ava Lee, Patrick Lee, Solomon King and Tobias King.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Georgetown Kentucky Historical Society in honor of Richard King.
