She was predeceased by: her parents, Thurman Measel and Grace Measel; her husband Charles Hicks; and her brother Steve Measel. She is survived by: her son Matthew Douglas (Sarah); her grandson Stephen Hicks; and her brothers, Henry (Karen), Martin (Gwenda) and Terry Measel. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and close cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Clark Legacy Center – Brannon Crossing (601 E Brannon Rd, Nicholasville, KY 40356). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
