She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Oney and Margaret "Iona" Arnett Oney; and her brother Douglas Earl Oney. She is survived by: her daughter Mikiah Lauren Oney (Transylvania University) of Lexington, KY; and her brother Donald Ray Oney (Roberta) of Mt. Sterling, KY. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Taul Funeral Home Chapel (109 E Main St, Mt Sterling, KY 40353). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at the Machpelah Cemetery (600 E Locust St, Mt Sterling, KY 40353).
