Reese D Stephenson Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Reese D Stephenson (Lexington, Kentucky), born in Portsmouth, Ohio, who passed away on April 6, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dee Stephenson and Ethel Stephenson; and his sisters, Delores Noel (Floyd) and Penny. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Baker Stephenson; his children, Leslie Pearse, Scott Stephenson (Crystal), Jessica Harris (Brad) and Leah Pearse; his grandchildren, Joshua Pearse, Rachel Pearse, Cheyenne Munn, Michael Pearse, Ellie Stephenson, Jacob Arend, Caroline Arend, Brantley Harris, Leah Pearse and Heidi Harris; his great grandchild Sebastian Hersey; and his close friend Charlotte Coralea. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins, brothers and sisters in-law, and friends.

Tim Dawson wrote a sympathy message

“Reese was a teammate and friend at Morehead. We lived in the same “athletic trailer park” for married athletes at MSU. Reese continuously amazed me with his hitting. We lost touch a few years after graduation but Connie and I still thought highly of Reese and Barb. I know the Lord welcomed him with a smile.”
