He is survived by: his wife Carol Rupp; his son Kevin Kavanagh, MD (Catherine); his grandchildren, Sean (Jennifer), Scott Kavanagh (Lori) and Lindsay Calderon; his great grandchildren, Mallory, Rowan, Max, Logan Kavanagh and Nicole Calderon; and his siblings, Edward and Gloria Bianchi.
