It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Polly Dean Hocker (Lexington, Kentucky), who passed away on August 3, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Logan and Mary Wolford Logan; her husband Joseph W. Hocker; her son Joseph R. Hocker; her siblings, James Logan, George "Butch" Logan, John T. Logan Sr., Freddie Logan Sr., Mary Logan Rice and Ophelia Logan Simpson-Anderson; and her siblings-in-law, Edward Thomas, Jesse Rice and Lillian Logan.
She is survived by: her children, Amira R. Hocker Young (Jonathan) and Lance R. Hocker (La'Tonya); her sister Gloria Logan Thomas; her sisters-in-law, Betty Logan and Addie Logan; her grandsons, Joshua Hocker, Nathan Hocker and Jonathan Young I; and her great grandchildren, Isaac, Isaiah, Ilias and Izekiel. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many special friends.
