It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Phyllis Slone of Lexington, Kentucky, who passed away at the age of 83, on July 17, 2023. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, C. Haddix and Minnie B. Haddix; her sisters, Lillian Meeks (Eugene) and Sara Leech (Harvey); and her granddaughter Lillian Rose "Lilly" Mattingly.
She is survived by: her husband Jim of Lexington; her children, Sean (Anne Deck) and Tiffany Mattingly (Chris); and her grandchildren, Vael, Grace, Joseph and Olivia Mattingly.
She enjoyed spending time with them during her later years before the COVID pandemic and dementia made that more difficult.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Alzheimer's Association or Kentucky Educational Television.
