She was predeceased by: her parents, John Elliott and Cora Noble Tincher; and her husband Marvin Eugene Strong, Sr.. She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Susan C. Strong of Frankfort, KY.; her sister Pauline Gabbard of Vine Grove, KY.; and her grandsons, Ryan Strong (Cristy) of Milton, GA and Mark Strong (Ashley) of Lexington, KY.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Deaton Funeral Home Chapel (15 Deaton Ln, Jackson, KY 41339). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
