She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Waller Sr. and Nell Higgins Waller; her husband John Kersey Jr.; her siblings, James Waller, Gary Waller and Barbara Vanmeter; and her grandchildren, Bradley Johnson and Melissa Johnson.

She is survived by: her children, Sharon Johnson (Donald) and Michael Kersey (Angela); her brothers, Charles Waller Jr. (Jane) and David Waller; her grandchildren, Chris, Brian, Gabriel and Mykayla; her great grandchildren, Hannah, Kaela and Kasey; and her close friend Audrey Kersey.
