She was predeceased by: her spouse Monte W. Gabbard; her parents, Albert Thomas and Nannie Bowling Thomas; and her siblings, William Harrison Thomas, Jerry Thomas, Agnes, Eunice Gabbard, Addie Conway and Christine Gabbard.

She is survived by: her children, Kim Oliver (Larry) of Beattyville and Nathan Gabbard (Jamie) of Lexington, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Justin Neal Oliver of Beattyville and Chase Nathaniel Gabbard of Lexington; and her siblings, June Thomas Gabbard, Albert of Booneville, Kentucky and Joe Bowling of Booneville, Kentucky. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
