He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Mostert (DeMarcus); his siblings, John F. T. Mostert (Jack), Roberta Mostert Soyers and Mary Mostert; and his half-brother Dirk Mostert.

He is survived by: his half-brother Nico Mostert; his children, Theodore Mostert (Zandi) of Baton Rouge, LA, Richard Mostert of New Orleans, LA, Kathleen Baker (Ben) and Kristina Rivotto (Tony); and his stepdaughters, Cynthia Manson (Ken) of Baton Rouge, LA and Lisa DeMarcus of Lexington, KY. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Rhodes College or to the educational institution of your choice are appreciated.
