He was predeceased by: his parents, Susan Forbes Adams and William "Bill" Adams; and his brother David Adams. He is survived by: his children, Paula Lackie (Todd), Paul D. Adams, Jr. (Michelle) and Christal Adams; his cousin Zelma Forbes; his grandchildren, Katelin Adams, Caleb Lackie and Jessie Adams; and his great grandchildren, Lily Ann and Caleb Douglas Lackie, Jr..
He often donated his craftsmanship, time, and money to support the well-being of feral cats in Fayette County. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name to the Fayette County Humane Society would be appreciated.
