He was predeceased by: his mother Josephine Ryan Stahl; and his brothers, Johnny and Jeff Stahl. He is survived by: his father James E. Stahl of Maysville; his wife Monica Gallenstein Stahl of Lexington; his daughters, Sami Sweet (Seth) of Maysville, Kari Stahl of Maysville, Abbi Stahl of New Albany and Brenna Stahl of Winchester, KY; his stepsons, Kyle Howell (Ipek) of Los Angeles and Zach Howell of Lexington; his siblings, Mike Stahl (Sharon), Jim Joe Stahl (Mary Lou), Judy Bruns (Chuck) and Maria Stahl (Jeff Silva); his close friends, David Cooney (Melissa), Phil Claypoole (Allison), Wayne Turkelson (Dee) and Scott Clifton; and his grandchildren, Jayden Stahl, Levi Sweet, Luke Sweet, Landon Sweet, Olivia Howell and Zach Howell, Jr.. He is also survived by nieces nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Stahl Brothers Scholarship Fund in care of St. Patrick School or to St. Patrick School.
