With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patricia Joann Matthews in Lexington, Kentucky, born in Falls Church, Virginia, who passed away on October 14, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband James Matthews; and her parents, Carl Nutter and Margaret Nutter. She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Petet (Gerard) of Colonial Heights, VA, Elizabeth "Betsy" Anderson and Sarah Turner (Mark) of Lexington, KY; her grandchildren, Gerry Petet (Virginia), Bonnie Howerton (Brian), Allison Turner, Joseph Turner, Lindsay Furikawa, Collin Anderson, Lauren Olson (Jon) and Kyra Anderson; and her great grandchildren, Ben, Ava Petet, David, Clara Howerton, Sota Furikawa and Rachel Olson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Child Development Center of the Bluegrass.
