She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Jenkins and Betty Vinegar Jenkins; her son Danny Lee George; and her brothers, Harrison Thomas Jenkins and Julius "JB" Jenkins.
She is survived by: her children, Tim George (Jeanette) of Richmond, KY, Michael George (Bridgette) of Indianapolis, IN, Robert George (Tina) of Danville, KY and Teresa Gordon (Darrell) of White Plains, MD; her sisters, Elizabeth Brewer of Georgetown and Charlotte Happy (James) of Georgetown; and her close friends, Mary Evans, Burma Fox and Helen Herron. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Funeral services and burial in First Baptist Church Cemetery will be private. Due to current mandates, facial coverings and social distancing practices will be enforced.
