He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Raisa Hofferman and Nathan Hofferman; his sibling Gitta Stein; his wife Peggy Hofferman; his stepsons, Randy Gray and Greg Gray; his granddaughter Emily Gray; his nephews, Ethan Kind, Alan Stein (Griselda), Stuart Stein and Ira Stein (Leslie); his great-nieces, Hannah Stein, Talia Stein, Leah Brumley (Todd) and Celia Stein; and his great-nephew Noah Stein (Ashley).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to B'nai Zion Synagogue, Shriners Hospitals for Children or Bluegrass Care Navigators (Hospice).
