Norma Mink Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Norma Mink of Lexington, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 30, 2024 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Norma Mink to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl McVey and Kathleen McVey; and her siblings, Arthur McVey, Johnny McVey and Irene Reeves.
She is survived by: her siblings, Alice Wagaman (Pat), Ruby Kelly (Dan) and Jim McVey; her sister-in-law Diana McVey; her children, Debbie Bowman (Ron), Shay Pennington (Bill), Jeff Mink and John Mink (Jill Stoltzfus); her grandchildren, Brian Bowman (Sara), David Pennington, Jay Pennington (Stacy), Heather Chapman (Dave), Chad Bowman (Karen), Amanda Alexander, Kylie Mink and Ryan Mink; her great grandchildren, Bram, Nathan, Noah, Aidan, Brody, Cole, Aven, Natalie, Laurel, Makayla, Juniper and Alexis; and her pet Bella.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Anderson Laws and Jones Funeral Home (114 S 3rd St, Harlan, KY 40831). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at the Resthaven Cemetery (3000 State Hwy 840, Baxter, KY 40806).
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be sent to the Elimisha House, Inc. PO Box 390, Harlan, KY 40831, in memory of Norma Mink.
