It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma Jean Austin Batsel of Lexington, Kentucky, who passed away on September 29, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband William M. Batsel, Sr.; her parents, Leland Brickle and Lucille Bergen Brickle; her sons, William M. Batsel, Jr. and David Bastel; and her granddaughter Carolyn Batsel Buckles.

She is survived by: her boyfriend Jimmy Banta of Lexington; her children, Greg Austin (Stacy) of Lexington and Barbara Anne Knight (Bob) of Marietta, GA; and her sister Jo Ann Hardy-Goodlett of Shepherdsville. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
