She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Warren Liggett, Sr. and Lydia Dee Workman Liggett. She is survived by: her spouse Benton Day; her son Ronnie "R. J." Shrout, Jr. (Ginny); her grandchildren, Tyler Matthews, Abigail Morehead, Charlie Morehead and Scarlett Morehead; her siblings, Fred Liggett, Jr. (Anita) and Joyce Darlene Hayden (Danny); her nieces and nephews, Stephanie Zieger (Randy), Ashley Hayden (Kate), Twila Kennedy (Pete), Kaycee Kennedy, Austin Kennedy, Jeremy Liggett, Jason Liggett and Jessica Alderman (Thomas); and her great-niece Brooklyn Kennedy.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private funeral service will be held for Nora Liggett Shrout Day at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Clyburn officiating.
