She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Frances Smith and Charles L. Brents; the father of her children Jack Wheatley; and her husband Leslie Sorrell. She is survived by: her children, Anne Caldwell (Tommy), Rebecca Clutts (Trent) and Mike Wheatley (Diane); and her siblings, Charlotte Falvai (late Nick), Nancy Higdon (Freddie) and Ed Brents (Carita). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lexington Humane Society or Bluegrass Care Navigators (Hospice).
