He is survived by: his wife Mabel; his children, Patricia Owens (Charles), Marcia Stevenson (Derek), Donna Dunn (Paul), Karen Smith, Shannon Penman and Mitchell Smith, Jr. (Sabrina); his sister Lorraine Collins; and his close friends, Alberta Mayberry, John Thomas and Ira Robinson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, brother-in-law, sisters-in-laws, cousins, and extended family and friends.
