He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alva Parris (Shootes) and John Palmer; his uncle Bishop Elisha McKinley Parris, Sr.; his aunt Jannett Parris; his wife Alisha Palmer; his stepchildren, Leenisha Morrison (Jake), Aaliyah Lockhart and Decoyen Parks; his children, Lakisha Byrd, Tennile Palmer, Alveatta Palmer and Marcus Palmer (Courtney); his grandchildren, Jaden Byrd, Jasmine Byrd, Raven Palmer, Tyesha Palmer-Royal, Dontae Holley, Denzel Holley, Avaughn Palmer, Ava Palmer, Ruby Palmer, Zoey Palmer, Marcus Palmer III, Kian Baker, Jenesis and Lael Morrison; his great grandchildren, Devyn Jones and Raelynn Jones; his siblings-in-law, William Green (Pastor Sherry) and Samelle Green; his siblings, Anita DeBose, Alva Barnum, Elisha "Atlas" Parris, Al "Joe" Parris, Jannett "Haley" Parris-Allen (Sonja), Kevin Hardy (Rosalyn) and Kerensa Houston (Kevin); and his godson Lazro Scruggs. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, and friends.
