With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Millie Jane Scarber (Lexington, Kentucky), born in Lancaster, Kentucky, who passed away on February 1, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grant White and Ida White; and her brothers, Bobby White, Cecil White, William White, Henry White, Bruce White and Larry White.
She is survived by: her husband Donald B. Scarber; her daughters, Tracy Beatty (Garry) and Stephanie Scarber; her grandchildren, Donte Beatty, Garry Beatty Jr., Aliyah Beatty, Kaleel Scarber and Jayla Jackson; her great grandchildren, Noah Beatty, Mya Griffin, Ja'Niylah Scarber, Kareem Scarber, Ky'Aire Scarber and Myles Taylor; her siblings, Betty Steele, Charlie Salyers and Michael White (Angela); and her sisters-in-law, Tiny White, Gwendolyn White and Sharon Scarber.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wesley United Methodist Church (1825 Russell Cave Rd, Lexington, KY 40505). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Wesley Unity Methodist Church (1825 Russell Cave Rd, Lexington, KY 40505).
