She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Wilson and Ruth Howell Gwinn; and her brother Richard Gwinn. She is survived by: her son Russ Franklin (Melanie) of Richmond; her grandchildren, Jacob Daniel Franklin of Lexington, Sarah Elizabeth Shimazu (Yuki) of Tokyo and Amy Christine Mudd (Tyler) of Arden, NC; and her sister-in-law Flora Gwinn of West Virginia.
