He was predeceased by: his parents, Ina Woodrum (Cricket) and Thomas Woodrum; and his sisters, Judy Blake and Libby Lear. He is survived by: his sons, Paul Michael Lear (Jacqueline) and Keith Lear; his grandchildren, Jasmine Lear, Andy Lear, Daniel Lear, Brandon Lear, Kaden Lear, Karson Lear, Tate Lear, Piper Lear and Hayden Lear; his great grandchildren, Nevaeh Lear, Camden Coubert and Kori Cummins; and his siblings, Mary Major, Tonuja Dailey (Raymond), Paul Lear (Vanessa) and Yancy Lear (Katrina).
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 1000 Export St, Lexington, KY 40504. A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Care Cremation & Funeral Service - Bryan Avenue (1304 Bryan Ave, Lexington, KY 40505).
