It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Dennis Kolenda in Lexington, Kentucky, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on October 13, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Kolenda and Audrey Jean Young Kolenda. He is survived by: his children, Jeff Kolenda (Joy), Kara Kolenda, David Kolenda (Christy), Josh Kolenda (Emily), Tim Kolenda (Dana) and Brian Kolenda; and his siblings, Sheryl Kolenda Gelbuda, William Mielke and Terry Mielke. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren.
