He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Wesley and Addison; his parents, Bill Recio and Lynn Recio of Ocala; his sister Katie Cauthen (Doug); his niece Campbell Cauthen of Lexington; and his brother Gene Recio of Ocala, Florida..

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Old Friends Thoroughbred Retirement Facility, 1841 Paynes Depot Rd., Georgetown, KY 40324.
